I usually do not publicize prophetic words I receive from the Lord. I tend to keep them private, pray over them, and wait for further direction. However, concerning this word about Cuba, I felt strongly led by the Lord to speak about it publicly so that others can pray for the nation and its people.
My sleep was broken by a disturbing dream. When I awoke, I remained up for some time praying and engaging in spiritual warfare. Then, at approximately 12:05 a.m., as I was preparing to return to sleep, I suddenly saw in the spirit a map of Cuba. Just off the western coast of the island, I saw a red star. I understood the red star to signify a great earthquake occurring off the west coast of Cuba.
Immediately afterward, I heard the Lord say in the spirit, “Cuba has been weighed in the balances and found wanting.” In that moment, my response was to pray for mercy over the nation and its people.
Then I heard: “The cup of iniquity has risen before Me. They received warning once, yet they did not take heed. The time is at hand when every knee shall bow. They will cast away the idolatry and necromancy that have plagued the nation. The time has come,” says the Lord, “when they shall know Me as the true and living God. When they repent and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear their cry and heal the nation.”
I am sharing this because I believe the appropriate response is prayer. Pray for mercy over Cuba. Pray for repentance and for hearts to turn to God. Pray for the protection of lives, for the Church within the nation to arise in prayer, and for the people of Cuba to encounter the true and living God.
